    Stephanie Atli is a benefits consultant with SBA.  With over 10 years of experience, Stephanie has held positions as a business analyst, research analyst, and implementation manager.  Stephanie possesses strong data management skills, is intensely focused on details, and builds strong and enduring customer relationships.  Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from Hillsdale College with a degree in Spanish and from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in International Affairs.

  • Runae S. Badciong

    Senior Benefits Consultant

    Runae Badciong is a senior benefits consultant with SBA.  Runae began her career over 20 years ago as an actuary with a national consulting organization.  She worked with defined benefit retirement plans and health and welfare plans in the areas of compliance and plan design.

    With a keen interest in plan operation and administration, Runae used her benefits background to assist plan sponsors and third-party administrators in solving complex issues associated with plan administration.  She has led large scale outsourcing and in-sourcing implementation initiatives as well as designed systems for defined benefit, health and welfare, and defined contribution plan administration.  Her responsibilities have included project management, the development and validation of business requirements, the development and execution of testing processes, and most recently comprehensive ACA reporting.

    Runae graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in risk management and insurance, with a concentration in actuarial science.

  • Jennifer Davis

    Benefits Consultant

    Jennifer Davis is a benefits consultant with SBA.  With over 10 years of experience, Jennifer has held positions in financial management and pension plan administration.  Jennifer excels in research-based problem solving and is an excellent relationship builder.  She specializes in assessing client needs and interpreting financial and technical information related to pension plan administration and distribution.  Jennifer received both her Bachelor of Business Administration and MBA from Ohio University.

  • Kim Dulaney

    Benefits Consultant

    Kim Dulaney has been actively involved in employee benefits consulting for 20 years.  She has provided actuarial, administration and other consulting services to some of the most recognized companies in business today.

    Kim has expertise in the areas of data clean up, plan document evaluation, benefit calculations, actuarial valuations, and other defined benefits-related areas.

    Kim is a graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in actuarial science.

  • Eddie Eakes

    Benefits Consultant

    Eddie Eakes has over 30 years of experience in employee benefits consulting and related systems development.  He has worked extensively with employee benefits administration and actuarial systems platforms.  Eddie supported plan sponsors with their annual health and welfare open enrollment processing, the administration of their retirement plans, regulatory systems updates as well as many other benefits-related projects.

    Eddie most recently worked for a major employee benefits administration software provider where he worked with clients to convert data, plan provisions and process configurations from a legacy system to a web-based administration platform.

    Eddie graduated from David Lipscomb University with a B.A. in mathematics and from Middle Tennessee State University with a Master of Science in mathematics.  Eddie also teaches college mathematics at Kennesaw State College.

  • Tammy Fiacco

    Benefits Consultant

    Tammy joins SBA as a benefits consultant.  She started her career over 35 years ago with one of the largest human resources consulting firms.   With extensive experience in the day-to-day management of pension, deferred compensation, 401(k) and health and welfare plans, Tammy has a reputation for success based on her excellent technical and analytical skills.  Most recently Tammy served as a team lead for strategic planning, implementation, documentation and process improvements for multiple benefits programs.

     Tammy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Mathematics from State University of New York.

  • Susan L. La Kier

    Benefits Consultant

    Susan La Kier’s experience in the employee benefits industry began in 1991.  Prior to joining SBA, she worked in a consulting role for the world's largest provider of multi-service HR business process outsourcing (BPO).  She previously had been an officer for a subsidiary of a leading provider of investment management, asset and fund administration, fiduciary and banking solutions.

    Experienced with daily recordkeeping, plan compliance and consulting with defined contribution plans, Susan is an effective problem solver with highly developed technical and analytic skills.  Susan has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia where she majored in risk management/insurance with a concentration in actuarial science.

  • Kim McCauley

    Benefits Consultant

    Kim McCauley has over 15 years of professional experience with a background in quality assurance project management.  She manages projects for defined contribution, defined benefit and health and welfare plans.  With unyielding attention to detail, deep expertise in running large, complex projects with many stakeholders, and her ability to communicate complex topics to a diverse audience, Kim is a proven problem solver and an excellent relationship builder.  Kim graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biology.

  • Matt Perini

    IT Director

    Matt Perini designed, developed and implemented a variety of benefits-related applications.  He has expertise in the areas of systems design, programming, database design, product development, compliance, communications, benchmarking and administration.

    Matt provides services around administrative best practices, program design, and process evaluation and re-engineering.; data collection/mining, analysis, and cleanup; administrative reporting, forms consulting and development, product service usability studies, and evaluations of prospective products and/or vendor services.

    Matt completed computer science coursework at Clemson University.

  • Lori M. Pocock P.M.P.

    Benefits Consultant

    Lori Pocock is a benefits consultant bringing to SBA nearly 20 years of employee benefits experience.  Lori has worked extensively in the areas of defined contribution, defined benefit and health and welfare.  Her experience and skill set span from project management to technical programming.  Lori possesses excellent verbal and written skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a stressful and fast paced environment.  Lori has a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Texas Lutheran University.  She is also a certified Project Management Professional.

  • Lesley Posey A.S.A, E.A.

    Benefits Consultant

    Lesley Posey has 30 years of experience as a retirement actuary. Her pension and retiree medical consulting expertise includes plan design, administration and forecasting; governmental filings and nondiscrimination testing; and plan operational reviews and troubleshooting (such as data and calculation remediation and lost participant resolution). She has served dozens of pension plan sponsors and administrators across a wide range of industries.

    Lesley is an Enrolled Actuary (EA) and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). She joined SBA in April 2018 and is based in the company’s Atlanta metro office. Lesley holds a bachelor’s degree in math and economics from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.

  • Robin Powell

    Benefits Consultant

    Robin Powell is a benefits consultant with SBA.  Robin began her career over 15 years ago specializing in communications, quality assurance and operational effectiveness.  Robin is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the administrative service center where she coordinates all incoming and out-going correspondence, answers the various participant questions that arise in the operation of the plans administered by SBA, ensures the quality and timeliness of the work product, and coordinates the benefits delivery effort among the various vendors involved in the administration of our clients' plans.  Robin graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Management.

  • David L. Runsick Q.P.A.

    Benefits Consultant

    David Runsick has over 20 years of benefits industry experience, mostly concentrated in defined contribution work.  Prior to joining SBA, he worked in the Human Capital group of a major accounting firm and with a large consulting and recordkeeping firm.


    David’s skills include data management, Form 5500 filings, non-discrimination testing, voluntary compliance filings and support of plan terminations.  He has worked with small, medium and large companies providing a wide range of services.  His understanding of the daily valued recordkeeping environment allows him to support clients in a variety of capacities including being a liaison between clients and third-party administrators in support of general recordkeeping services.  David graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a B.S. in Accounting and has earned certification from ASPPA as a Qualified Pension Administrator.

  • Mary Shah F.S.A., E.A.


    Mary Shah brings over 25 years of benefits consulting experience to SBA.  She provided actuarial and other consulting services to some of the most recognized companies in business today.

    Her experience includes actuarial valuations, financial forecasting, risk assessment and mitigation, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, implementation support, and other benefits-related projects.

    Mary majored in mathematics at Davidson College.  She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and is an Enrolled Actuary.

  • Kim L. Shumate

    Senior Benefits Consultant

    Kim Shumate is a senior benefits consultant with SBA.  Kim began her career over 25 years ago with a large, national consulting company with a focus on defined contribution plans.  Kim has held numerous defined contribution-related positions including defined contribution systems engineer, technical defined contribution specialist, supervisor of defined contribution specialists, defined contribution client services manager, and defined contribution training manager.

    Most recently, Kim was engaged on behalf of a Fortune 100 plan sponsor to develop project plans and to manage the transition of multiple acquired 401(k) plans into the plan sponsor's primary 401(k) plan.  For this engagement, Kim managed internal resources as well as the resources of the various recordkeepers involved.  In addition, she composed, edited and managed the entire employee communications campaign associated with this project.

    Kim graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in computer science.

  • Carol A. Simmons

    Benefits Consultant

    Carol Simmons joined SBA in 2003.  Carol’s strong background in mathematics allows her to provide detailed and highly accurate services for our clients, including data analysis and cleanup, accrued benefit calculations, preparation of benefit statements and preparation of data delivery to outsourcers.  She has worked with plans as large as 10,000+ active participants.

    Prior to joining SBA, Carol worked as an actuary in the retirement consulting division of a large outsourcing firm.  She later taught as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at North Georgia College & State University and won numerous awards for excellence in teaching.

    Carol earned her B.A. with Distinction in mathematics from Hendrix College, her M.S. in mathematical sciences with a concentration in operations research from Clemson University, and her Ph.D. in discrete mathematics with a design theory/graph theory from Auburn University.

  • Harry L. Souder IV

    Benefits Consultant

    Harry Souder has nearly 30 years of industry experience in actuarial and outsourcing consulting, including work with both defined benefit and defined contribution plans.  Prior to joining SBA, he worked for a large consulting and recordkeeping company.

    Harry has worked with small, medium and large plans, providing a wide variety of services and support.  His experience includes data management, benefit calculations, government filing and annual valuations for defined benefit and defined contribution plans.  He has performed cost studies, non-discrimination testing and top heavy testing, and plan terminations. Harry has experience with actuarial software supporting employee benefits, including system maintenance and modifications, voice support, and full-service processing. His experience allows him to bring practice-based skills to a variety of challenges faced by plan sponsors.

  • Allyson Till

    Benefits Consultant

    Allyson Till is a benefits consultant with SBA with over 20 years of employee benefits experience.  Allyson has worked in the plan sponsor environment as a large-plan retirement administrator and in the consulting environment with a major employee benefits consulting firm as well as an employee benefits administration software provider.  Allyson’s breadth of experience makes for a natural fit at SBA.  She is a proven problem solver and an excellent relationship builder.  Allyson graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and from Pepperdine University with a Masters in International Business.

  • Beth Tuttle

    Benefits Consultant

    Beth Tuttle is a benefits consultant who comes to SBA with 17 years of management experience.  Beth is an integral part of the administrative service center team.  She is highly organized and a proven problem solver.  Focusing on customer relationships is her top priority.  Beth completed business administration coursework at The University of Houston.

  • Joseph R. Zatto F.S.A.-R, M.A.A.A.-R, F.C.C.A.-R

    Senior Benefits Consultant

    Joseph Zatto has been a leader in the employee benefits field since 1957. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held several senior positions in a national consulting organization, including Chief Actuary and Regional Managing Director.  Over the years, Joe’s focus has been on providing superior, practical consulting advice to his clients.  He is known for his depth and breadth of experience, his ability to communicate complex retirement issues in layman’s terms, and his relentless focus on matching benefit programs to a corporation’s overall strategy while also considering the interests of plan participants.  Joe’s experience includes plan design, mergers, acquisitions, union negotiations, forecasts of changes in funding methods, and asset reversions.  He often serves in the capacity of special consultant because of his unique qualifications.

    Joe has been a guest speaker at local and national meetings of the Financial Executives Institute, the National Association of Accountants and other retirement industry forums.  He also has served as an expert witness in conjunction with pension and retiree medical plans.  Joe is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
