Strategic Benefits Advisors today announced the appointment of Randy Whitty as a senior benefits consultant. In this role, Whitty will support SBA’s clients across a range of employee benefit plans, including defined benefit, defined contribution and health and welfare plans. His work will include delivering expert guidance on pension plan administration, ensuring accurate benefit calculations, helping clients stay compliant with evolving regulations and supporting participants through retirement and other life events.
Whitty brings more than 20 years of experience in pension consulting and administration. Prior to joining SBA, he served as a project manager at global professional services firm Aon (NYSE: AON), where he led client teams and special projects that required deep technical knowledge of defined benefit plans. Over his two-decade tenure, Whitty advised clients on legislative and administrative changes, oversaw plan implementations and ensured service excellence across daily and strategic initiatives.
“Randy’s technical acumen, leadership skills and long track record of delivering quality outcomes for clients make him a strong addition to our team,” said SBA Founding Principal Mindy Zatto. “We’re excited to welcome him to SBA as we continue building a firm known for its unmatched experience and client-first mindset.”
Whitty earned his bachelor’s degree in science and mathematics from the University of South Carolina. Outside of work, he is an avid hiker and mountain biker who enjoys watching football and spending time with his family.
