Strategic Benefits Advisors (SBA) today announced that it has advanced senior benefits consultant Robin Powell to the position of director. The promotion was attributed to Powell’s long-term contributions to SBA, which include exceptional client service, sustained support of business objectives and continual focus on process improvement.
As director, Powell is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of SBA’s administrative service center, including overseeing staff training, ensuring service project quality and coordinating correspondence between plan participants and vendors. A skilled project manager, Powell also works closely with clients to ensure their pension administration needs are met and to troubleshoot issues as needed.
Powell’s exceptional advice and expertise have established her as a prominent thought leader in the employee benefits industry. An industry veteran of more than two decades, she has contributed numerous articles to Employee Benefit News on topics including plan governance best practices, cybersecurity, defined benefits plan termination and audit preparation.
